You can start a App-V package locally without a Management Server / SCCM / HTTP server by doing the following:

1) Open the OSD and change the header to:

<SOFTPKG GUID=”33025D63-0D68-44E9-A030-5B524CEC2774″ NAME=”Babylon 8.0.0.22″ VERSION=”8.0.0.22″>
<IMPLEMENTATION>
<CODEBASE HREF=”file://c:/virt/BABABYLO.E01/BABABYLO.E01.sft” GUID=”F27551F9-ACF7-478F-B505-72B29E7223EE” PARAMETERS=”” FILENAME=”BABABYLO.E01\Babylon.exe” SYSGUARDFILE=”BABABYLO.E01\osguard.cp” SIZE=”406834067″ />

2) Import the following reg entries:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\SoftGrid\4.5\Client\Configuration]
“AllowIndependentFileStreaming”=dword:00000001
“ApplicationSourceRoot”=”c:\virt”
