When opening the Citrix XenDesktop Director website the following error is displayed:

The system is currently unavailable. Please try again later or contact your administrator.

The following event is logged to the Event Log:

Your logon attempt was unsuccessful. No sites could be accessed.

To solve this

  • Open the Internet Information Manager on the server.
  • Navigate to Application Settings

  • Double click on Service.AutoDiscoveryAddresses and change the value to the hostname of the Desktop Delivery Controller.

  • Open an CMD with Administrative rights and run IISreset
