The Citrix Web Interface and the XenDeskop Desktop Director are two components that end users and helpdesk employees can use to access their workplace and tooling.
Citrix web components, like the Web Interface and the XenDeskop Desktop Director, use IIS 7 to host their websites. IIS 7 uses the .NET Framework to display content. For example, Citrix Web Interface 5.4 uses the .NET Framework 2.
The .NET Framework, like version 2, use runtime elements. Older versions of the .NET Framework have elements that do not function correctly.
When using .NET Framework 2 the element generatePublisherEvidence is default enabled.
This element has a negative effect on assembly load times. And this has effect on how long it takes to display the Citrix Web Interface and the XenDesktop Desktop Director.
To speed up the load time of the Citrix web components, and to fasten the One moment please wait time on the Citrix Web Interface;
We can safely disable the generatePublisherEvidence element.
Check the websites to see that the load times has been reduced.
